I don't want to sound like a broken record here, but please, please, please
be very careful when making flavored oils wherein you leave garlic cloves in
the oil. This is a breeding ground for botulism. Oil should be
refrigerated and used with a couple of weeks. When in doubt, make vinegar.

When you wanna make a gift for someone by putting oil, peppers, garlic, etc
in a bottle, do you have to cook the peppers in the oil first or can you
pick them from your plant and just drop them into the pot??? (I'm using
orange habaneros here)
