I have 2 coffee grinders - one for coffee and the other for spices. I clean
it out well after every use. I use that for grinding my chiles. It works
quite well. Some chiles don't grind as well - arbols for one. Works well
with most others.

I have a Salton grinder. Got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond about 2-3 years ago.
For coffee, I have a Krups and I've had that baby for about 13 years now.
Either one works very well. I had one before the Salton that died after a
few months, can't remember what brand it was.

Get a good brand. Not a department store knock-off brand. You should be
fine.
