I'm very sorry to hear about Chef Tropp. My wife and I went to SF for our
honeymoon in 1997 (May) and I brought the address of China Moon with me. We
went to the address and found that China Moon had closed and were
devastated. However, Mike Fennely (sp?) from Santa Cafe in Santa Fe, NM had
opened a restaurant in that location. We ate dinner there and it was very
tasty, but I wanted China Moon....
I think I'll be making Chinese food for dinner tonight....

FYI: Barbara lost her battle to cancer about 3 weeks ago here in SF. What
a
great chef, and a dreadful loss at 53!!!!!
