Did anyone see Colameco's Food Show on WNJN in NJ
today? The guy who is the host used to have a show
called The Food Dude. He is a chef, somewhere.
I was watching his show today and he made a succotash
that had habanero and serrano in it. Also he sprinkled
his fresh fish with smoked hab powder before dunking
it into his breading mixture. Then he deep fried it. I
tried to get the recipes from their website but there
were no recipes at all on the site. Just breakdowns of
the Episodes and the links to the restaurants that he
went to in the filmed parts.
The succotash had onions, garlic, 2 colors of bell
peppers, fresh corn on the cob, fresh lima beans,
habanero, serrano, salt and pepper. The fish had
smoked habanero powder sprinkled on the fish before he
deep fried it. He likes things hot. I've seen him eat
hot things before too. It was good to see.
I hate lima beans but I might try that recipe if I can
find them. I hate canned limas so much.
