I have a separate coffee grinder just for spices - I
think I paid $7 on sale at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Does a
fine job. I leave the windows open when I grind habs -
but usually just use cayenne, ancho or chipotle for
most recipes. If I have other types of dried chiles in
the house, I'll use the same grinder. Works very well.

Mine is a Salton, I think. I have a Krups for coffee
and I've had it for 13 years now. Never had a problem
with it so either company grinders work well.
