[CH] OT -- World BBQ Championships

What: Pork Barbecue World Championships
Where: Tom Lee Park, Memphis, TN
When: May 16, 17, and 18, 2002
Are any CH's planning to attend this event? I know that many list members
(=Mark, Alex...?) enjoy BBQ almost as much as El Grande, so I was hoping
that there might be a few list members there -- maybe even competing. If
so, we should definitely plan on getting together for at least a little BBQ
and a beer or 12.
While on the (admittedly OT) subject of early summer festivals in the South,
are any list members going to the Beale Street Music Festival? It is the
first weekend in May, also in Memphis.
How about the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN on June 21-23?
Camping, food, and music (moe., Widespread Panic, String Cheese Incident...)
for three days.
Always looking for a way to meet some list members....
