Thanks to one and all who responded (now that our server problem is solved I
can read your replies!). I stopped by Carullo's since it's an easy hop off
the T on the way home. Nice selection there. The others will have to wait
for weekends.
I did try to make a simple Tex-Mex dinner over the weekend and discovered
some disspiriting signs about ingredients at several groceries I checked
(including Harvest Coop) -- anemic jalapenos, no mexican limes, and just
weird tortillas. So weird I had to check the ingredients -- "...bran flour,
sugar..." (?!). Fortunately I brought up some guajillos and moritas to liven
things up.
I guess this just means I have to do more exploring. :)
