I notice that I can handle some types of heat better than others. I
will have vindaloo and not think its all THAT hot until I notice my
eyeglasses steaming up, yet a spicy hungarian sausage which most of my
friends can handle fine, just does me in. That leads me to think that
different people react to the various sources of heat differently ( Do I
hear everyone collectively saying duh!?) I have one friend who is fond of
taking me out to eat just to see my face turn red as I devour some spicy
stir fry or whatever.
