Sorry, Paul....been in Chilliwack for the past week, just got back, and found 100's of emails waitin for me to download and peruse!(read)! Poppa bear
wont never ever have cubs around, he would kill and eat them first! (sompin like some of the chile heads???):-))) BIG grin! You'll bite? Oh No he
would bite, first the cubs then YOU! and if it was just momma, then she would bite him first to preserve her cubs, then bite YOU! Mostly here we are
talking grizzlies, but black bears with cubs are just as dangerous....run the other way! Never mind the old joke about the guy who was bear hugged by
an old momma bear, and he just kept on hitting her in the crotch, until she finally let go, and he took off. Coupla weeks later he was back in the
same woods, and he sees this bear again.....this time she saw him, and she puts her right paw up and is waving, Come on back! But he didn't take the
invitation! Hope Jim avoids the bears in Alberta, I warned him! Cheers, Doug in BC
