OK....I really should know better! Here it is! Enjoy, we did.

4	cups, more or less, shredded cabbage
1	large, sweet onion, also shredded
2-4	red (hopefully hot) jalapenos, or whatever ya got that is hot

Cook the above in mildly salted water until tender crisp. Drain, saving some of the water, then do a sweet & sour sauce:

1/2	cup brown sugar
bring to half a cup with vinegar, eg: add vinegar to brown sugar until half cup
2	tbls corn starch, mixed in a little of the water cabbage, etc. cooked in
disolve the sugar & vinegar in a sauce pan, add the reserved cabbage, onion & peppers and stir until heated through. Add the corn starch mixture to
thicken. Serve and enjoy. The hotter the peppers, the better the flavor. Both Marie and I enjoyed this and it was served with a left over smoked
salmon pie done in a corn meal mush pastry....it was also great, better the second tiime, than it was a couple of days ago.
Ya want that one too? cheers, Doug in BC
