I'm humbled.... I can't really add much to this note, other than to
make a few corrections ;-)

Re: Likely dates are the 28th & 29th of September

Those are in fact the dates now. Unfortunately, Tony George didn't
bother to check with me and he scheduled his F-1 race for the same
weekend. That means IF you can find a hotel room in the area
(Indianapolis) you'll pay twice what you normally should expect.

Re: I figure about a 1/4 acre (roughly 2,000 plants)

It actually looks a little more like 1/2 an acre (about 4,000) plants.
As mentioned before, there aren't a whole lot of any one kind, but there
are about 35 varieties to pick from.

Re: it's a secret "Field of Dreams"

Judging from the number of people expected to attend, it's not that much
of a secret anymore ;-) Can't give you the figures from last year's
event (since I wasn't there) but 200 looks like a reasonable guess at
this years number.

Re: How much is admission?

Admission is free, dollar wise. It will cost you a little time in
helping to pick up any debris from the event. It would also be VERY
nice if you could swing by my landlords' farm market & buy something
from him. I'll provide more info on that later.

Re: working on his sainthood

Buying absolutions is more like it ;-) Really though, I get at least as
much fun out of this event as anyone else so it isn't entirely
altruistic.

I'll be posting the 'official' invite & request for RSVP's shortly. Got
to try and survive the next two weeks at the Indiana State Fair though.

Thanks again for the too kind note!
