Tammy and I are looking forward to it as is our 4 year old daughter who
can't wait to meet up with the "pepperking" (Doug Barnhart - a bit of a
local celebrity/legend what with winning the jalepeno eating contest 3 or is
it 4 years running now) once again. The sad news I recently learned is that
our good friend Andy Barnhart (yes, Doug's father and perhaps the one of the
purest chileheads we know) will not be there as he and the Mrs. are off for
a fine vacation out west.

For those of you that have never been, but have a chance of getting there
you don't want to miss this event. We've been the last five years now and
it is the best chile festival we've ever been to, bar none. The weather is
always awesome (oh, I hope thats not a curse), the music is great, the
chilehead camaraderie is great, the food is awesome, James Weavers farm is a
mecca of sorts, and.....well you get the point. Don't miss it!

So Chip Welsh, are you going to act as the meeting point once again for all
the Chileheads?

We won't forget the Barcardi Limon, sprite and ice, but someone will have to
bring the lemon peppers to add to our drinks as I have no garden this year.

Lets get a count of who will be there from the list by responding.
