Wel it's a very good idea to use a vacuum cleaner indoors for a fly problem.
I know a few prof. green house gardners who are using big vacuum cleaners to
catch those small black fly's we call trips. Here in Holland there even not
allowed to use insecticide to kill these, or at leased very little.

But be carefull, yesterday our 8 year old son was helping his mother with
the vacuum cleaner and he sucked a rose out the vase when he moved the hose
a little to enthousiastic... if you could seen his face, he was completly
bewildered. I removed the rose out the dustbag (it was just replaced)... no
more leaves at all... we had a good laugh!
So my advice is when you do it.... keep some distance... or the cure is wors
than the disease!

Hot regards
Rob NL
