[CH] archives question looking for ideas for OF

Okay ya'll when you search the archives for a recipe do you have to open 
every digest and so a key word search on every document?
or is there a secret way?
I know how to get there, I know how to open, use, save, blah blah, blah, 
but sometimes one of you will pop up with *oh that is in such and such a 
digest xyz* like it took ya 30 seconds.... I had saved a million Ch 
recipes and links but most of them went by the by (or bye bye) when DH 
slammed the laptop shut way back.

looking for something interesting to take to O.F.
not the most technical cook..
like MaryAnne  and Risa  intimidate  me as well as many others.
{{meaning I ain't brining no turkeys nor allowing dh to go near the 
coals....
and I don't want no experimenting for fear of being ridiculed off the 
list  )
