To all my chile head friends who have "known" me for lo, these many years
and who knew what I was saying earlier to that idiotic mortgage broker,
who only knows gutter language, a heartfelt thank you. When I was
writing that, I had Jim Campbell's brother in law in mind, who was
sitting at his desk in the Pentagon, working on a better pension plan
for the common dog soldier, a 3 star general, who worked his way up from
the ranks, Gen. Tim Maude.....he did not survive, as his desk was in
direct line of that plane which crashed the Pentagon....God rest his
soul, and all of the others whose lives ended so abruptly, a year ago
today, wherever they were....the Canucks who worked at the Trade center,
the ones who were in the various planes, and of course, all of the
people who died, with the exception of those misled muslims, who are
NOT, IMHO, true followers of the Prophet Mohammed, but as in all
religions, are followers of some jerk who has translated the Koran to
suit HIS interests. As most of you know, I do not often get on my soap
box, preferring, rather to post a new recipe using our favourite fruit,
but in this case, when I was pesonally atacked, I simply had to answer
this jerk....guess my 76 years has not taught me patience with fools!
Sorry Mike for the off topic post, you will not hear from this old man,
until the end of September! Did I hear you cheer, Mike????Big :-)) Doug
