An old German gentleman I knew, used to take a syringe into his garden in
the morning & inject his cherry tomatoes with vodka.  By cocktail time he'd
have Bloody Mary's on the vine - as it were.  I always thought of taking my
hab vodka & doing the same...Less work & mess than getting the pieces into
the 'mater.
