I have to admit to this being a favorite time of year, but only
because of pumpkins. I luv em. Pumpkin pie and pumpkin soup being
the two main things I create and woof down gladly. Roasted pumpkin
seeds too, yup. I suppose I should try a mole one day, eh?

I await the day after Boo day, and then buy, like, 3 pumkins or so.
Will be a chore in this kitchen.

But mmmmmm...

I'll have to try adding some chipotle and/or other chiles to the pie.
It's always added to non-cream soups (seems to bring out flavors/help
flavors meld....debatable, of course).
