Grits is ground homminy -- which is dried corn that is been soaked in lye. Any colour corn can be used to make homminy (and grits) including blue corn. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Yuch, no wonder I don't like it. Corn and toilet bowl cleaner. Doug must need a good flush, :-) I'll stick to the mutton.. L.B.
