 So..  do you mean GROWING garlic in the garden does
all these things?  or just throwing out cloves? or..  I just want
to be sure.. because we are going to start planting things in
our garden soon (about 6 weeks or so) and we're planning
on what we want/need to add.

Garlic is used by some as a fungicide for plants, Some profess that it
kills the Damp-off fungi while growing your chile seedlings.
 
I wonder if bathing in it, would kill foot fungus and jock itch?
