I usually buy these plants at one of our local supermarkets and they are just called jalapeno peppers. My question is : do jalapenos have more than one variety??? I ask this as two years ago the peppers where all green when harvested then turned red while drying. Last years started out red right from the start. What gives???? David Roy Andrews
