Well, well. Up here in COLD Canada it it currently 12C or for you metrically
challenged, about 56F and the green grass is growin all around all around!
Mind you this is British Columbia, and we are on Vancouver Island, and we do
have an El Nino going at the moment....does rain a little tho :-) but we
dont have to shovel it! Paul, I also have two plants wintering over and one
is just as deddd as yours in WHERE? Oh yeah....NOT Maine! Dont feel bad,
John, I did the same boo boo, Paul is just oversensitive, like all of those
from Massashootus....:-) Now that I have enhanced the reputation of BC I can
go back to my geneology! Cheers, Doug in BC

Hi Doug,
My uncle Frannie is *Big Time" into genealogy, I'm talking ***BIG
TIME****!!!! If you want I'll send him a post & you 2 can swap war stories &
find out if you have any info for each other or links to share. Let me
know...

Oh sure, rub it in about winter temps...But I understand it can rain for
weeks on end during summer months, true? (Maybe JohnT should send you some
seeds from his Rocoto's, understand they like cool wet weather & a long
growing season...)

I do have 1 suggestion on the dead pepper plant, don't give up untill
spring. Had a Chiletepin I had given up on in a big planter with 2 other
plants that did OK through the winter & when brought out into the sun in
spring sprang to life. Sent Alex some fresh fruit a month or so back from
that plant.

Got to go, hope everything well at your end,
         Paul
Oh by the way guys (& gals), I'm not overly sensitive to any confusion on
what state I'm from considering the "NorthEast" ChileMan handle. I love all
of New England & try to visit every nook & cranny during our 4 seasons. Have
vacationed in Newport, RI & toured the mansions, renewed a college
friendship in Burlington, VT & fished Lake Champlain, fishing ice out in
Back Lake, NH as a child with dad, deer hunting in the fall in the blueberry
barrens of ME, visited Martha's Vineyard, MA this past summer, & I can't
tell you of my warmest memories of the White Mountains of NH as I know they
wouldn't make Rael blush but are R through X rated & not appropriate for the
younger list members.
