I was at SauteWednesday.com and was reading the
archive of SF Examiner articles by Jeremiah Tower. I
came upon one on chiles. 

It also mentioned Magen Bay in St. Thomas, where I
spent one beautiful day during my honeymoon 13-1/2
years ago. It seems that he bought some hot sauces and
out of curiousity he put his finger in the bottle and
he had some experience with it, from what I read.
