RE: [CH] Chile spam?

I get *crap-mail* at my P.O. Box daily. Most all of them have a reply card
of some sort. I don't fill them out, but I do walk *all* of the reply cards
over to the hole in the wall for outgoing mail and drop them in. Sometimes
it's 10-15 in one day! On occasion, I tear as many as 10-15 out of my damn
Reader's Digest. It really pisses me off not being able to turn the pages
with those inserts being in my way. Every now and them, I put those (not
filled out) in the mailbox, too. :-)

It's my way of helping the USPS, they need the revenue.

Actually the USPS makes money on junk mail. And because they do our 1st
Class postage rates remain reasonable (they lose money (a little) on 1st
class) and Second Class rates (a sweet scam that Tom Jefferson and Benny
Franklin dreamed up) are absolutely miniscule in relation to the cost of
handling all those magazines, newpapers and other periodicals. Actual
postage on an issue of Chile Pepper may be as low as U$.0175. So, you're
not even getting your two cents worth.
