Heat was not really the concern for me but size really does matter ;-)

Here in OZ the Jals are characteristically smallish but tend to be very
volatile.

Maybe I will perform some trials with a few different cultivars, including
those discussed.

The reason heat level was not such a big deal was that for some weird
reason I can gobble Habs and have a lovely blissful endorphin laced high,
but Jals for some strange reason put me out of the game in awful pain (we
are talking whole pod consumption). To me the burn is vicious at the front
of the mouth, but I am a sucker as I love the Jal flavour and poppers
really ring my bells. I don't think I want to go down the TAM route, as it
is a bit self-defeating purpose, but I don't require a Jal whoopa** either.
Capsaicin blends in each variety is fascinating.
