That's how to make them dig down and really mix the soil, same thing with 
the cultivator attachment I put on my Ryobi.  Plus, you don't have to worry 
about leaving footprints in the freshly-tilled ground.  I make the thing 
clamber forward first to break the clods, then pull it slowly back and let 
it really work.
