Hi Scott (Ashkenaz) and Roswitha (Remling),

Thanks again to you two for hosting the 2003 HotLuck.

Nice pictures. I'm sending AllenLee, my son, and Richard Donnelly and the Chile-Heads list your webpage:

If I can remember, I'll bring by some chocolate Richard made for AllenLee (for Xmas to give as presents) with some powder AllenLee gave
him. It's got pretty decent heat. I've suggested that next Xmas Richard should add a little more - but not much - hab pow!der and use pecans
for the nut. On that subject, I do agree that there were very few dishes with enough heat. My sauce alone was pretty hot, just a little toned
down from my dishes in years past for wider consumption, but by the time it spread out over the broccoli and salmon, it lost about 1/3 of its
heat. Live and learn.

As for the 2003 Demon Rum, maybe it's just creeping senility or selective forgetting, but it seemed definitely hotter than any previous year's.
Please tell the-severely-shocked-by-Demon-Rum-Christina: "That was the longest I've gone since I was a child without thinking about sex!"
(in photo 77 wearing yellow T-shirt, brown cloth coat, pale blue shoulder bag and pain) that I hope she has recovered her normal frequency.

Love,

Art
