Some people in Albuquerque call Poblanos "Chile Manzanos". I have seen a
dish that is a Poblano stuffed with minced apple, raisens and nuts and
baked called Chile Manzana. But I haven't seen a fresh manzano chile.
You might ask Dave Dewitt or check with the Chile Connection on Broadway
& Mountain in ABQ. Also the Whole Food Market on Wyoming and the
Albertsons in the South Valley have all sorts of fresh chiles. In the
meanwhile I will check my favorite Mexican grocer on 4th street, unless
you have already checked there. PerryA
