Big howdy to all my CH pals, I am finally back on our Mac so I can post here
again. (PC and AOL conflicts with CH format argh so all I could do was read)
We had severe storm damage back in Dec. when we returned from Thailand, and
just finally have the repairs and mold remediation finished, new flooring
(travertine) and Mac is back in place.

We just returned from a month long holiday in Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia,
Bosnia, Montenegro, and Slovenia via London and we discovered a wonderful snack
over there in the local farmer's markets Hot Paprika Pumpkin seeds. So
addictive. I am sure we left a trail throughout or at least filled a few ashtrays
with the shells while sipping a cold brew.

We simply fell in love with the Dalmatian Coast from Montenegro, Dubrovnik,
Split, Korcula, Zadar and the Plitvitca Lakes. We already want to return. We
stayed in Sobe's most of the time which is the bed and breakfast type of
accommodations.

We were pleasantly surprised to find home made ajvar available most places
and they make mild and some nice toasty ones. We also found Pizza Piccante to
be very popular. It was VERY hot. Yippee! We had feared the food would be of
the bland nature, but tis not so. Everything is loaded with flavour
including much garlic.

Upon our return we were greeted by many ripening pods much to our delight.
Thai Bird Chiles and Indian Cayenne types are loaded, as are several others. I
am growing about 50% in pots again this year. My Puta Tree Chile is such a
lovely plant!!!!!

Again, glad to be back on CH!
