[CH] 7th (Almost) Midwest Hot Luck!

Just another heads up! The Almost 7th takes place in Des Moines two weeks
from tomorrow...October 5th. Big Tom has been trying to post about it but
is having problems getting in...so, here it is from me again:
We're meeting at 1:00 at Big Tom Price's home where he and his wife are
hosting. I understand a generous box has already arrived from Jim C. (why
was I not surprised...this man is so generous) but Tom is patiently waiting
to taste anything until the rest of us arrive.
We have "reservations" from several of our midwest folk but there is room
for more. So...all of you who have never attended a hotluck but keep
reading about them: if your within reasonable distrance of Des Moines, by
car, bus, plane, roller blade etc, plan to get this on your calendar. Those
who HAVE attended hotlucks, come and see how we celebrate El Grande in
beautiful Iowa. Don't worry about the food being too moderate because I'm
attending! There are plenty of Fire Eaters to keep me in touch with the
meaning of life!!
