Well, not to unload on the list, but it IS on topic :-) We had a pretty hard frost here and it was predicted to be 30 F or colder. That would have certainly meant the end of my season so I hit the panic button, not having enough crop in at the time to get me through. I found some chiles in California & fly out in the morning (O-dark early) to drive them back 42 hours non-stop for processing at CaJohns in Columbus OH. Am I STUPID or what?! :-) When combined with my harvest (which wasn't hit as hard as the weather knuckle-heads predicted) it should allow me to get through to next season & keep all the folks that depend on me for mash happy. So, if you happen to be along I-40 somewhere between LA and Columbus OH and you see a Penske Rental Truck going by with Red Savinas(R) spilling out the back, wave and say 'hi'. And, stay out of the way of the idiot asleep behind the wheel :-) -Jim C Mild to Wild(R) Setting 'slow mail' till Tuesday the 14th.
