Wish I was fit enough to run, but run from those great CH's? Nah! I would
rather stay and chat. Hey, let me tell you about my Rocoto. It is still
enjoying the sun through the main bedroom window and as far as plants go, is
looking in fine form. But.............

Talk about the Ten Green Bottle of Kindergarten fame, I started off with
fifteen li'l green chillies hanging from their branches like as though they
had been promised a place in the Chile-Heads book of Stars. Sad to say
though, those precious Fifteen Rocoto's are now Three. A very happy looking
three they are. Two of them are almost 2 inches by 1.1/4, and it is my fond
hope that they will stay where they are and ripen. The third one is a tad
smaller, but like the reckling piglet, will catch up very soon. I hope that
you are all behind me and praying that my poor li'l Rocoto's will make the
grade?

So whats all this about the List being Dead? It aint dead, folks are just
pondering what to say and hoping that some folks don't beat them to it. Ha
Ha! I have been very busy. The weather here in Englad is pretty good with
more than our fair share of sunshine. At this rate my poor Rocoto has an
even chance of making it. Mind you, the way time is passing, it will soon be
time to put it outside again and wait for a bumper crop of, oh so hot Chile
Peppers. Wow! I can hardly wait for that day to come. I just hope and pray
that I shall be here when it does. Hi!

We have just got rid of another Post Office Strike which will have done no
good at all to my hopes of recieving a package of Super Hot Chile Sauce from
the USA. The back log will take a few weeks to clear, then Christmas will be
on us and more hold ups along the way. But on the bright side folks....when
you are Chile Head, who cares? As long as we have some delicious Habs on our
plate, us Moderates are more than happy. Great chatting with you all. Stay
with the HEAT. Walt. CH#2218. An old Chile-Head from the old country.
