Same here.  Lots of tomatoes up through July, then they stopped.  Early
Girl, Champion, Celebrity all stopped producing.  Roma simply died.
Methinks it was because the night time low temperatures were quite a bit
over 70F starting late July and continuing into September.  Would that be
a factor?  Would that also affect chiles?  I had a few NewMex/Anaheim
type chiles, which I was counting on to provide a lot of bulk in salsa,
suddenly die in August/September, for no apparent reason, while the rest
of them, hot and sweet both, carried on.
