In my opinion, a great "beginners" hot sauce is Melinda's XXXX Habenero Reserve. It has a great pepper taste without being overpoweringly hot. Busha Brown's Scotch Bonnet Sauce and Blair's Original Death Sauce are also good. If he is ready for the super-hot category, I think Cajohn's Krakatoa is the best on the market.
