__________ My observations indicate that they need some sort of fertilizing, particularly if grown in containers, otherwise they will start to yellow as the nutrients are washed out of the growing medium. Very dilute tomato fertilizer restores greeness but may inhibit flowering? What do the Peruvian farmers use? Llama dung? __________ Like tomatoes, I think, they will respond well to a reasonably nitrogen rich fertiliser with lots of trace elements. This will promote good growth and foliage. When the weather warms up for flowering you can give them a dose of potassium sulphate to promote flower growth. Fertilising is always a balance between over fertilising (giving "soft" plants) and under fertilising that means the plants may not grow strongly. regards grant -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This email and any files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
