Time for me to weigh in here as well I guess :-) Here is what I'm
planting for the Open Fields. Consider this the first official notice
;-)

Plant count ranges from a low of 20 or so for the C Eximum that John T
sent me (thanks again!) to a high of 300 or so for the Fatili (pay
attention Marv ;-) Note also the Rocotos Cameron :-) I've some milder
ones in there as well for the roasting. Most varieties will average a
couple of hundred. Total count should be right at 8,000 depending on
Spring retail plant sales. We'll have just about an acre of chiles to
cavort amongst again. I'll try to do a better job with them this year.
Permanent markings, less weeds, better plants, no guessing :-)

Sorry for the length of the post, but here it is (in NO particular
order):

Tabasco, Varingata, Yatsafusa, Thai Dragon, Orange Habanero,
Red Savina(R) Habanero, LRT Cayenne, Big Jim, Peter Pepper,
Mutant Jalapeno, Pequin, Chimayo, Tepin, Marbles, New Mexican 6-4,
DeArbol, Aji Yellow, Purira, Bolivian Rainbow,
Poblano, Cherry Hot, Bulgarian Carrot, Medusa, Red Squash,
Pepperoncini, Serrano, Red Caribbean, Acongagua, Pimiento,
Chocolate Habanero, Red Scotch Bonnet, Santaka,
African Fish, Fatali, John T, Manzano (Rocoto), Kung Pao, Sandia.

Hope to see you all there this late September again!
