Jeff Here is the Texas A&M website I refer clients to when they call about raised beds -- you can build a really aesthetically pleasing bed with landscape blocks that doesn't have straight sides or rows, but uses block plantings -- even your neighbors will never know that it is chiles. :-) We have a planter on the south side of our deck -- about 7 feet off the ground -- I usually put Bolivian rainbows in there.
