[CH] Pain Is Good Sale at Shoprite

I was at Shoprite in Mansfield on Sunday. In their
section with soda and snacks they have a small stock
of Pain Is Good items. Usually they are the usual
$6.99 a bottle. When I saw the display on Sunday, I
noticed they are selling the sauces, trail mix and
salsa - all for $1.99 each!
I looked at the ingredient list on the trail mix and
noticed a high amount of sugar so I didn't buy those
but I did buy a bottle of the Garlic Style Batch #37
Hot Sauce for $1.99. It is orange in color, and has
the usual label of the guys face in pain.
First ingredient is carrots, second is habs. It has
garlic puree, and minced garlic in the first 5
ingredients along with the usual vinegar and water. It
is a thin sauce.
I tried it last night. It has the same flavor as the
usual mustard based sauces - Inner Beauty and also the
same kind of flavor as Melinda's - or anything with a
high amount of habs. When you open the bottle for the
first time you get hit with the smell of habs.
It is not overly hot. It is quite good though.
They had the following:
Jamaican Style Sauce
Garlic Style Sauce
Trail Mix
Salsa
They didn't have any of the powders or any other
products, just those 4.
Wanted to let those who live in that area of NJ to
know that they are on sale this week.
