I'll post the recipe from home when I have it in front of me. Actually, I don't use a deep fryer -- I use an electric skillet with a couple of inches of oil in it. Heat it up to 350/375 and keep it there -- you'll find that the frying doesn't take much oil. The advantage of an electric frying pan over a deep fryer in this case is that you can fry more hushpuppies at a time.
