I think I might have been given the wrong name for this pepper (way back when...). Looking at some pics, the pepper I'm thinking of may be the chiltepin. Is there anyone in Central TX (say, around San Antonio, where I was) that can tell me which variety it is that grows wild (not to mention, "like wild" ... as in very well and very rapidly, as I recall) there? THAT's the one I want. :-) Thanks, --jim -- 73 DE N5IAL (/4) MiSTie #49997 < Running FreeBSD 4.4 > spooky130@cox.net || j.graham@ieee.org ICBM / Hurricane: 30.39735N 86.60439W Down, not across. --alt.sysadmin.recovery motto
