Received this question on my website a few days ago.  This is a new 
one for me. I don't think aluminium can change the Ph and have never 
noticed the Ph having any effect on the heat factor.

I have a friend who swears that his peppers grown in an aluminium 
planter are hotter than those grown in regular planters?  Something 
to do with the Ph of the soil. Any comments or confirmation?
