Hi,
Just a short comment out of The Netherlands, I'm growing Rocoto successfully
for years now.(ever since I got a few seeds from Cameron Begg).
I think it must be the climate but all my plants are always loaded with
fruit and I can say I don't do anything special with them.
They just grow in pots and even in the 'cold ground' of our garden, in pots
I use normal potting soil and place them 4 plants in a bout 16" pots.
During grow season I don't keep them to wet and put them on a place where
they only have sun in the afternoon.
Fertilizer, just a spoonful of tomato fertilizer (small balls) once in 4-6
weeks.. that all.
Sometimes I save one over till next year did it also last year.
What I do I just cut it back till about 7.5" (you only see a few stems no
leave at all) and place the pot under a window at the attic and give only a
little water each week just to keep it alive.. in a week or 4 you see that
there will be small leaves coming on it again... and just leave it there
till beginning of may and place it outside.
The one from last year is doing great again..... and yes these are so good
to eat, and hot too! it is still my favorite pepper.

Just my two cents worth
Hot Regards
Rob NL
