Ha ha!  I can relate to that.  I know I promised at least two people something & I can't remember what it was or who they were.  :(  Am reasonably certain that I told them to remind me as I know my rememory sux.

I really do want some of that sourdough starter though and will email you off list.  I came within inches of ordering some on ebay last year.  As winter approaches I get into a bread machine & pizza making mood.  Did you by any chance get any of my vile little vials of powder?

anyone else who bakes sourdough and would like a starter that came to 
tennessee from europe 200+ years ago, let me know...the family who gave 
it to me say that they can trace it back at least 100 years before it 
came to the states...it is still very active, and gives a great 
sourdough taste...
