I think I saw Michael's announcement/invitation on
rec.food.cooking in '93 (or was it '94 when the group
started) and was one of the first posters.  I've
probably posted no more than 10 times in the past 10
years though...

Anyone remember Garry Howard?  His chile verde was
AWESOME and I still make his version of Mexican rice
to this day.
