Who says Irish cooking is bland?

Found this in the Quarter 3 2004 issue of Lexus Magazine.

"The Ivory Tower. Can anyone beat deep-fried chile and cinnamon ice cream
for sheer weirdness? Chef Seamus O'Connell says don't judge it 'till
you've tried it: "It makes for a great sensation-hot and cold and sweet and
spicy and lingering." The key is rolling the ice cream balls (which
contain red chiles and cinnamon) in cornflakes, flour, egg, and
praline. The deep fryer does the rest. (Exchange Buildings, 35 Princes
Street, Cork, Ireland; 011-35-427-4665)"
