That actually makes sense - I had not associated rocoto pod set problems
with too much heat (which make sense given where they originate). Last
summer here was pretty crappy through the months of July and early Aug.
so we did not see baking heat - this may be why those 4 plants did so well.
The one I grew the year before (the parent to the other four) did not do so
well but that summer was hotter. Darn - I just thought I knew waht I was
doing the second time around rather than it being luck of the draw because
of weather. Consider my bubble completely burst ;-)
