I am seeing recipes, such as in Heat Wave cookbook and at Pepper Fool and other places, calling for peppered tequila. Is this a liquor you can buy? I googled peppered tequila and pepper tequila, but don't come up with much besides recipes using peppered tequila and a lame joke they cached over and over. I know you can infuse tequila or vodka with chile peppers. I guess what is throwing me is that if the "peppered tequila" in these recipes is a homemade infusion, the infusion is treated like an everyday ingredient --i.e., making assumption everyone would know what it is and that they have to make it themselves.
