"...Enjoy the health human life"

I was sauce shopping in the Asian store again, and I came home with two new
ones. The fun begins with reading the labels before I even open the jars.

First up, mixed vegetables with chiles in oil:

"Old Grandma Cut Chile is a kind of delicous food which is characterized,
also produced after many years of studying. This product is noted for fresh
and tender, tasty and hot. It can improve your appetite and has
long-remaining taste. It's suitable for friends, family, and traveling."

Next, fermented black beans with chiles in oil - "Handsome Guy Lafansheng
Tasty Catsup" with almost the same description. This stuff does not look or
taste anything like catsup! But it should be fine for destroying the
innocence of a nice bowl of broth.

I also got a little bag of ring-shaped snacks with a remarkably evil-looking
habanero on the front. The wrapper doesn't have anything in a Western
alphabet except for the brand, Tohato, and "habanero" - so of course I
bought one! Not a bad heat, but an odd meaty flavor because it has pork and
chicken in it, too. Here's the company web site, there are some great
images here:

The product I got is Tyrant Ha Spring Ro:

The greatest in the world the harsh red pepper * with it is said, " Ha
spring Ro " was used, exciting it is harsh, the good it is harsh snack where
becomes the クセ. Taste and the other seasoning and balance of
the vegetable it combines " Ha spring Ro " well, is harsh with it finished
in the potato snack to which flavor agrees.
* The kind, inside レッドサビナ of Ha
spring Ro

I'm guessing "the クセ. Taste" is Umami - anyone know?

Well, got to go wipe my nose now...
