Anybody catch Alton Brown's show on chiles last night?
Smacked my head in a big Duhhh when he came up with using
one of those collapsible steamers for roasting a few chiles
atop a gas range.  Ingenious.  When I only want a few
chiles, I roast them one by one by sticking them on a
grilling fork, holding & turning chile over the flame.
Loved his method!

His using a "manly" red multi-drawer tool chest to store the
different chiles just cracked me up!  As it was meant to.
