Hi All, First up congratulations Doug & Marie. 56 years is sure a long time. Unfortunately I only made it to 40 before I lost Maggie So best wishes to you both and keep going. Had great time with Jim visiting. Too short a visit but nice weather for the day we got out to sea. Even caught a few small fish. Yellowtail Kingfish too small to keep at 30cm sorry 30 inches.:-) After a cool wet December which had a nephew from England shaking his head as he was expecting a tropical Island (too close to the ice for that) January improved with February becoming real summer weather, which is carrying on into my favourite month March (The fishing is good everywhere in NZ in March) A misunderstanding about the date line had me having to cancel a jet boat trip up the Motu river into pristine bush Next time maybe Jim? Now have 2 great granddaughters but as they are in Western Australia only get to see them about once a year. (8 hour flight) The 12 other grandkids all growing and looking good so far. FWIW NZ thrashed by OZ in the 1 day cricket series. Jim almost became cricket fan after one game. Never mind Rugby season just starting. Wot's that you say:? -) List is very quiet these days are you all snowed in? Tony Flynn Grandad retired at the beach. Bay of Plenty.
