March 8th: seeds go into the germination chamber. March 19th: germiniated seedlings moved under flourescent lights. (Chiltepin, Aji Amarillo, Whilte Lightnin', White Bullet Habanero) April 2nd: Seedlings moved to 16oz. plastic cups, back under lights. April 14th: Notice that the only seeds that didn't germinate, and hence left for dead, were the Puerto Ricans, which weren't dead, and had sprouted quite nicely despite 3 weeks of being ignored: no heat, no light, no water. These persistent little buggers survived: a cruise back from Puerto Rico, poor storage conditions (I left them in a baggy, in the pod, which molded inside and out), then my germination/abandonment. I am constantly amazed at how resilient El Grande's progeny are. Scott... waiting for May...
